Lone Star Guns and Training
Newly-founded, Lone Star Guns and Training aims to provide two basic services to customers in need.  These services include:

-Firearms training and coursework
-Firearms sales and customization

Nestled in the Texas Hill Country just northwest of San Antonio, we are a short and enjoyable drive from San Antonio.  Our classes are hosted in Bandera, Texas, which is the Cowboy Capital of the World!  Come on out for a day of education, certification, and fun!

A little bit about Mike Towers, founder of Lone Star Guns and Training:

Sgt. Towers is a proud alumnus of University of Texas at Austin and spent 25+ years in training, adult education, and technical communication in the business community. Among others, he has worked for NASA and Colt. Sgt. Towers has been a life-long shooter, first introduced to competitive shooting by the late Judge James FitzGerald III, a world class pistol competitor and 4th Army pistol champion.


Sgt. Towers has been a Texas Certified Law Enforcement Instructor and Firearms Instructor for more than 10 years. He is presently the firearms proficiency officer for two different Texas police agencies. He is a former member of the adjunct faculty at AACOG and a member of their firearms cadre, and is also a former faculty member of the Texas Justice Court Training Center.

Master Texas Peace Officer License (currently commissioned in Bexar County)

Texas DPS Bureau of Private Security Firearms Instructor certificate

Texas DPS Concealed Handgun License Instructor certificate

TASER International Instructor certificate

Sgt. Towers is also an impact weapon and OC spray instructor.
