Lone Star Guns and Training

M1 Garands

U.S. Rifle, Cal. 30, M2 Garand
General Patton called it “The Greatest Battle Implement Ever Devised.” The M1G is surely a very reliable design, and with few exceptions a VERY well made gun. Starting with the receiver, you get a forged steel part that will perform like a new gun, rebuild after rebuild. On the other hand, an “all original” M1 G is very rare indeed. More than 99% have been rebuilt several times. When they occasionally do pop up, they sell for many thousands of dollars to collectors. You can have an M1 Garand just as good or better than a true original, but at much less expense.
M1 Garand Receivers and Barrels

Here’s where we come in. We will select a receiver from dozens on hand that has the armory/manufacturer date/serial number that best fits your desire. For instance, you may want a WWII vintage receiver manufactured by the Springfield Armory. We will select one for you and add a trigger group that has had the famous Pipe Creek Arsenal trigger tune up performed on it—4.5 lb CMP spec  trigger pull that breaks like a glass rod!

Finally, we add a new Boyd’s custom gunstock so your new M1G will look and feel as good as it shoots. You get a new barrel and a new stock. You get a complete arsenal-level rebuild on an historic receiver that will be a source of pride for generations to come.  Your M1 Garand from LoneStarGuns will be a legacy that your children’s, children’s, children can actually shoot and enjoy!
